One of the “give back” opportunities I have includes working with high school seniors on their senior projects. Over the years I have enjoyed the time with many of them, and hopefully I was a source of some knowledge and inspiration.
This year was no different! I was fortunate to have a special student, Rochelle Selzer of Moon Area High School, shadow me for a couple of days. We discussed in general terms how the home building business works, and then we went to job sites. Rochelle got some hands on experience with saws, nail guns and climbing ladders.
Rochelle’s project included designing and building a dog house. She did a great job! She was able to use a lot of extra material that we had left over on jobs to complete her work. Bachman Builders wishes the best to Rochelle as she goes off to La Roche College next year!
